FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Military Cooking Battle

Full color poster is released with complete details of the upcoming battle and duel between the cooks and chefs of the military branches.

Look at the various USA teams performances at the 100 year Culinary Olympics.  Something you might want to move on to in the future.

Look at the Official US ACF Teams performance in Scotland 2001 at SCOTHOT.  Next up is Expogast in the Duchy (country) of Luxembourg.

These additional items are placed here to provide a look, for military folks, at how things work and appear.  We fully realize that military teams are not five star chefs, making blown sugar displays, each day, at their hotels and private restaurants.  We understand and respect, deeply, the work you do in field kitchens, mess halls and galleys as well as in the White House, Camp David, the VP's home and for Generals and Admirals.  This is why we have made the competition a HOT FOOD MYSTERY BASKET battle.  It makes for an even playing field of your true and excellent talents.

What we do not want is for you to look at the above photos and web sites and get scared.  All of the services will do well and represent themselves quite good.  As we have never seen or heard of any other military cooking battle in the history of America, we have no point of reference other than the admirable Fort Lee, US Army competition.  Our advisor, Senior Chief Petty Officer Martin CJ Mongiello, MBA, CEC, CFE, CHM, CPFM has no knowledge of this in US history either.

Therefore, just use the above links and photos as a good point of information.  Please do not feel intimidated by the large showcases and world culinary competitions.  We know that many of you already have competed at the Olympics as well as other tough competitions.  It is only our interest to, kind of, show you how these events look and come off.  We very much look forward to your competition and truly will enjoy hosting you as our military friends and fellow cooks and chefs!
