Military Cooking Battle

Website stands up in support of 2003 battle

Chef Wally Davenport has announced that as of August 13, 2001, a new website was being stood up in support of the "MILITARY COOKING BATTLE" to be held in 2003. The website is located at www.go.to/TheBattle.

The cooking battle is for Active Duty and Reserve units and will showcase who is the best of the best.

The battle will allow all of the military branches to show their stuff. The Coast Guard, Army, Marines, Navy, Air Force and Military Sealift Command will duel in a ring of fire while being judged. It is to be a match centered around hot food cookery and the ingredients will be a mystery basket of weapons (food items). No one will know the contents of the baskets until the last second and the beginning of the battle.
